Manitoba Shooting Results in Civil Award of Damages
Lori Rogan shot Reginald Phillips three times with a pistol, once in his stomach and once in each of his shoulders. After the shooting, Mr. Phillips underwent surgery to remove the bullet from his stomach, which necessitated the removal of a portion of his small bowel. The two bullets in his shoulders were not removed. He remained in the hospital for 13 days.
