Retired Kelowna teacher Sharon Harris was driving with her 80 year old mother in Port Moody, BC. As she approached an intersection her SUV was suddenly smashed on the passenger side. The impact caused her car to roll onto its left side, resulting in her suffering from broken ribs.

Nathan Mark was heading southbound on Gordon Street in his pick-up truck travelling towards Highway 401 just outside of Guelph, Ontario. The road conditions were extremely icy and suddenly Mr. Mark lost control of his vehicle and slid across the centre line of Gordon Street into the northbound lane, crashing head on with another pick-up truck.

Miroslaw Grudzien was driving in the HOV lane when Xiu Hong Hu suddenly veered into the HOV lane in front of him. He tried slamming the brakes but was unable to stop from striking Ms. Hu’s vehicle. . He exited his vehicle and began walking towards Ms. Hu but she was screaming at him and blaming him for the accident so he returned to his car.

One sunny afternoon Jose Lopez was walking with his family on a walkway leading to Nathan Philips Square in Toronto. Suddenly, he slipped and fell in an area where there was a patch of ice. As a result of the slip and fall he fractured his right tibia and fibula.
